Vpi plinth blueprint for alternate material?

I do not have the dimensions but VPI still sell the HW19 Mk4 plinth $700 but you could always convert it to a Superscoutmaster plinth I think $350 and should be a better plinth design
You can keep your platter and bearing and put them on Superscoutmaster Its a easy Job and perhaps at a latter date upgrade to the Super platter One of my friends got a stone mason to cut out of slate plinth and sounds really good. But if my money I just go Super scout master plinth. Speak to VPI

I think you could just take simple measureents and make your own. Here's a suggestion on what I did with Corian:

I'm half way waiting for VPI to come out with a new plinth for the Super Scoutmaster(Super Plinth maybe?) That would be about the only part of my original table that hasn't been upgraded. Please, no one call VPI to ask about this. It's only conjecture on my part.

If memory serves me correctly, the Plinth Size is 14"x19-9/16".

Not so sure about availability of the MK-IV Plinth?
This would encompass the Acrylic Plinth, Armboard, or Super Armboard, Metal Sub-Chassis, and one would then need a means of supporting all that additional Plinth Weight, meaning most likely the four Springs.

I know when I called a few months back to find if they possibly still had the Steel Sub-Chassis, as i had intentions of another Plinth as well, the answer was no.

Keep in mind, that if you will use a similar plinth design as the stock one, it will then require the underside of Plinth to be routed, to accomodate th stock Motor.

If your damage is only cosmetic, and you have no intentions of swapping arms with a different Spindle-Pivot Distance, perhaps find somebody locally who can re-laminate the surface of the Plinth? You only ever see the surface anyway when the Plinth is mounted, never the sides, or bottom

You might then have options of various colors-finishes, but it will still require the holes be cut for Arm Base Mounting, and Screws, Platter Bearing, Motor Pulley Hole, and the Three Standoffs for the Pulley Cover. Hope this helps. Mark
