I sold Vienna Acoustics at Tweeter & Magnolia & I sold many a pair of Mozarts
without a return or complaint. I sold and currently own Sonus Faber Guarneri Homage, so I am very familiar with both brands. Regarding your Mozart experience, you either don't like the speaker or there is an issue with the tweeter. Tweeters can still make sound and be defective at the same time. If you are trying to compare the Mozart's to the Cremona, they are not in the same league. In other words, you get what you pay for. Most of the Mozarts that I sold at Tweeter were paired with receivers with no complaints so I have hard time believing that they would sound bad with a Mac integrated amp. I happen to own a Mac stack too so I am very familiar with that brands performance and it does not roll off the highs. Both VA & SF were distributed in the US by Sumiko & and I participated in there master class for speaker set up. Both brands have silk dome tweeters that have a soft voicing that is more geared toward voice and strings. So depending on your preference & hearing, you may not like the Cremona because it to has a soft dome tweeter. The Guarneri which an Homage and step up from the Cremona does not have a dynamic sound but a harmonic richness that brings the emotion and human touch to the performance that goes beyond dynamics. That being said, neither the Mozart or Cremona is a good choice if Dynamics is your ultimate goal but if you are seeking the soul of the performance then biting the bullet for Cremona is the way to go.
