Utah speaers

I picked up and sold prematurely these Utah speakers. By the time I listened to them, a buyer was already at the door. I would like to find another pair and put them into my rotation for a more thorough listening since I was blown away/surprised how they sounded.

What is the MODEL so I can start looking for them?

Everybody pile into the ‘Wayback Machine’.  Wow!  How could you possibly miss those?  Oh, well.  Have fun on your quest.  You make us smile.

soix: yes, that is why I listed them while still sitting in the garage not even tested them. Then buyer wanted them, moved them in, hooked them up. WHAT IS GOING ON. Staging, airiness, dry, firm bass (less a surprised with that 15 incher hammering a way, NOT super deep), unrealy clarity even at monster SPL. Tried them for maybe 1/2 hour WITHOUT SETTING UP PROPERLY, and was SHOCKED. So now I want to dig a bit deeper to resolve the mystery, find another pair to test properly.

Maybe midwest speaker works has a refill surround kit for that midrange.glad you brought them back to life.parts express may have a whole midrange speaker.this should get the discussion going.see you don't need 10 k on a speaker to have fun.sometimes it's the journey.enjoy the hunt.

mark200mph: yes, I do realized more and more that I find the 'journey' more enjoyable than the 'estination'. Meaning, I like to find and try and change speakers in an effort to a) improve the overall quality and b) try and be surprised more (and spend more time in the process) than actually sitting down for long listening sessions.

Similarly to my other hobby, working on cars to make them 'better', yet only spending very little time on the racetrack to actually 'use' the gained performance (but enjoy the result of my work in lots of less intense spurs when just driving the cars on non racetracks).
