Two amps, one preamp, one sub…
So I just picked up a subwoofer, Elac 3070, which I plan on connecting to line out on my EAR 868 preamp. But I have two power amps, Nagra PSA and Wavestream Kinetics M100s (both about 100 wpc).
Do you think he subwoofer settings will need to be adjusted for each amplifier? I’m hoping not, but the Elac software should allow that if necessary.

If the two are different, you'll need to reduce the level on the one with higher gain if you want to maintain proper balance. That's one of the common functions of an active crossover. |
