Having made that point I would say these are very good LPs Miles Davis - In a Silent Way Ry Cooder - Jazz Tower of Power - Back To Oakland Average White Band - Soul Searching Joe Henderson - State of The Tenor Vol 1 & 2 @jjbeason14 While music is very subjective, I'm going to suggest to seek out these records and give them a listen, if your are not familiar with them. Then see if you agree with my assertion they are top recordings. All the best.
