You have to set it correctly. On the phone, there's a streamer quality setting, same for the PC app. Not sure about OS X.
Tidal HiFi really lossless?
Tidal hifi claims 1411 kbps streaming. If I’m using a laptop/iPhone WiFi connection am I really getting cd quality? Or do you have to have your laptop connected to the home network via Ethernet cable to actually get the full 1411 kbps streaming?
