Swapped the baby Maggie’s in this evening

I edited my post. Must have accidentally wiped it out.

Original post paraphrase:

I swapped in the LRS and ProAc monitors out of my system. Right off the soundstages gets wider and the speakers disappear. I've been listening to more acoustic music lately. That's the maggies wheelhouse. The ProAcs are better at large scale music - Classical - Rock - Electronica.

I generally speaker swap every 3 - 4 months. Anyone else swap speakers regularly?

Three cheers for the li'l Maggies (magipets?)!  I have the LRS and the LRS+ on different systems. By all meand get the serious crossovers from GRS labs. For both. Magnepan uses less than ideal parts in their crossovers and ferrous metals in the hardware. The difference will amaze you. I replaced the Linkwitz LX 521-4 with the modified LRS+ and sacrificed dynamics for detail and lifelike sound on acoustic instruments and vocals. HUGE difference in cost! Enjoy the music!

I definitely don’t change out speakers every three-four months.  I’d probably be in jail if I tried. 😁

Although I have had probably a dozen or so speakers in the fifty plus years I’ve been into hifi and still have four pairs hanging around.

@curiousjim ...got 7 pairs and growing....my own version of the Deads’ Wall of Sound....

Ever tried to run room eq L & R separately for all that?

Don’t...*LOL*  You start hearing ’funny music’ in the pink noise...;)

"...swapping baby Maggie's...."   Must be that eating babies in Dem pizza parlors thing that was about awhile ago.....

God may have mercy on you....but we won't...*LOL*
