I had a pair of Sonatinas years ago, great speakers. They do not need much power to drive them to realistic levels. The Pass Labs Aleph 3 only has 30w per channel. If you can find a class A integrated in your price range, I would go for it.
Streaming integrated for Silverline Sonatinas
Helping a friend choose an integrated for his v1 Sonatinas. “Sensitivity is specified as 93dB and impedance as 8 ohms, making the speakers an easy load.” Hoping to find something worthy in the $500-$1000 range. I know better SQ could be achieved at greater expense, but trying to optimize at a reasonable price point for him. Please add some details to your recommendation. Thanks. (Might also consider an inexpensive streamer if the amp has a built in DAC).
