Speaker Cable Length Impact

Wanted to get your thoughts on this...

Have an old set of MIT Oracle V2 cables that I used back then when I had a Krell FPB600.  Needed a 10ft pair for the stereo Krell.  They sounded great.

Several years later, I switched to Lamm monoblocks but the MIT Oracles were not a good match so I put them aside and used a set of 6ft Cardas cables.

I've now switched back to solid state monoblocks (Pass XA160) and would like to go back to the 10ft MIT Oracles.  I can have MIT shorten the cables (from 10ft to 6ft) but was wondering whether or not a 4ft difference in length will really make a difference.

Appreciate your thoughts.

No point, keep them as is, unless you are going to make a 6 foot pair and a 4 foot pair which you could use elsewhere

Agree with ebm.  I have 8 more feet on one side in my system and I still can’t hear a difference.  You need like Superman ears :)
