Southwest Audio Fest

Any of you turntable gurus plan on attending the SW Audio Fest in Dallas next month? I’m looking to upgrade of replace my stock VPI Classic. It doesn't  come close to my digital side. Not sure where to start. I bought it used 2 years ago and need to make decisions on carts, tone arm, etc. Sometimes it’s easier to talk instead of type and I know there’s a lot of experience and wisdom on this forum. I’ll be there Friday and Saturday most of the day. Also interested in power cords for integrated amp, as well as checking out all the other great gear I can’t afford!

@bobsdevices - looking forward to seeing you there. I just started learning more about SUTs, and I was excited to see ya'll on the exhibitors list!

@hysteve, I’m familiar with VPI, start with scout to classic 1 an and to 3.

with good matching cartridges they can sound very good.

and your phono stage have to be par with your cart IMO.

maybe I can go down there at the show next month .

cheers

@sbank if you google southwest audio fest you will find a lot of info on the show there are many big rooms and small ones and a long list of vendors. I did not attend any of those other audio shows you mentioned so I don’t know how it compares.
