Snake River Audio Signature and Signature AMps series power cords.

Over the past 6 weeks I have added 4 of these power cords to my system. I bought 2 Signature Amp Series cables from Jonny and then found two more regular Signature series cables used or demos.  I started adding the first one to my Coda s5.5 amp-after burn in the amp came alive. The next Signature Amp series cable which was a demo from Jonny, was added to my Denafrips Terminator 15th DAC, and the system moved forward again with improved dynamics, richer fuller textures and a more dimensional soundstage. The third Signature PC was added to the Aurneder N200 and again the same effect took another step forward. The 4th cable was added to power the HD Plex LPS that is powering the Legacy Audio Wavelet II which is connected with a RAL CD cable. With each addition I could hear more of what was started with the first cable on the amp, it just kept getting better. I am so happy with where I am at with the rig after these 4 cables were added, it’s  a whole new ballgame for me now.  I do not have the funds to try his new Takshaka cables but have heard they are even better! Jonny has a 1 day sale right no on July 4th if you want to try one.

You could use my veterans card and get that 30% off for the Takashaka cable. I would only require that you let me hold onto it for six months to ensure that it was properly made And not snake oil.

I really like my Boomslang digital cable.  I'm normally not keen on fancy power cords, but the Boomslang is such a pleasure to listen to that I'm tempted.  I'd also like to try his interconnects.

I have had their Signature Series speaker cables in my system for a few years now.

Excellent product well made and made a big difference in the sound of my system.

Highly recommended and Johnny is a great guy to deal with {-;

This reads like a paid advertisement. Also, info without data is just another opinion and reeks of expectation bias.

@tee_dee I replaced Wireworld Silver Electra 7's and DH Labs Redwave Signatures.

@roadcykler   this stuff isn't for you, save your money.

So I’ve been using USB from my streamer to my DAC.  The other day I popped in a Audioquest Cinnamon RCA to see if there was a difference.  There was, but it was slight.

Do you all think I’d hear a bigger difference switching to Snake River?  I

Thanks.

I just realized I gave no specifics about my system.

Arrunder N200, DH Labs Mirrage USB to a Denafrips Pontus ll, Clarus Crimson XLR’s to a PS Audio BHK preamp,  Clarus Crimson XLR’s to PS Audio BHK 300 mono blocks.

What can you tell me about the Redwave Signatures? It’s so hard to tell what’s what without having stores.  I really miss spending hours listening to stuff with a happy helpful salesman hovering around.

DH labs Redwave Signatures are power cords. I switched to Snake River Audio full loom. Jonny has a trial period if you want to try his digital cables. I don’t own any. My usb is an Audience frontRow Reserve.

I met Jonny at the So Cal Show last month.  I knew nothing about his products.  We talked a good 10-15 minutes.  Such a nice guy.  A week later I contacted him to let try a pair of his new Takshaka model power cord.  They will arrive in the next few days.

I will be able to a do a shootout at the amps or speakers (SoundLab A1’s), DAC and processor PS, or Phono and LineStage between my two reference power cords.  You can’t beat the 30-day trial.

What data are you expecting?  Spectrum analyzer screen shots?  Of course all the responses here are opinions, based on our personal taste and priorities of one product vs. another, in our own system.  I see these forums as exposure to new products that I knew nothing about before, and to potentially give them a try.

As for expectation bias, I would say that the majority of the time when I try something different in my system, directly compared to what I have, I end up keeping what I have.  But on occasion, that new arrival makes me aware of what I have been missing.  It can be a most pleasant surprise until I realize the disaster to my budget.
