Simple Question re Tidal Playback

I am researching through options for streamers (I like the Aurender N100C the best so far), but in the meantime, I use a Google Chromecast audio puck to stream via wi-fi from my Macbook. I have the Chromecast connected into my preamp/DAC (Audio Alchemy DDP-1) using a Toslink optical cable. It’s about the cheapest way to stream ... $40.

At some point, with the Aurender or other streamer, I will have the unit hard-wired to my modem.

Tidal is awesome... I would pay double the $40/month for CD quality. I have not played with MQA yet.
