My own personal experience with Simaudio has been very positive. I own a Moon 391 and have had great support from my dealer. The 391, like all Moon products that I have seen, is built like a tank, works flawlessly and sounds great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their products.
SimAudio Moon - Impossible to get a hold of for support?
I am thinking about investing some serious money into buying a Moon Audio 861 amp. It sounds so good! But their support seems to be horrible. I sent a email to them and never got a reply. I called their number in Canada and got a option to 'hit #6 for english' in which I did but I got French. If my amp ever had issues, how would I get a hold of them? They seem unreachable.

@dman777 You have received feedback and guidance from one of Moon's owners and several customers. What has your potential dealer(s) shared with you regarding Moon's customer service? |
@overthemoon Why? So I can be attacked some more? Is the intention is to sour the relationship I have between me and my dealer? I truly think these attacks on me are from people who are upset and frustrated in life because they can not afford hifi audio. In any case, what is the end goal here? To cost SimAudio a customer? Is that how you are helping SimAudio? My background: I am tired of buying and selling Hifi. I am ready for my forever amp. Moon audio makes incredible amps and I was most certain the 861 was the amp for me. It was going to be my forever amp. I was even going to buy an additional one in a year or so after so to have mono blocks. |
