I have no idea about your path because you are talking a language I don’t understand. It looks like you are feeding your amp directly from your DAC. The amp goes on last and off first. And whatever is feeding your amp should be set at zero volume on turn off and turn on.
SACD iso and DSD noise when stopping or closing music player
I've had this issue with two DACS and ASIO playback of DSD files (SMSL SU-9 and my current Gustard x26 Pro). When I stop playback or close Jriver/Foobar, I get a pretty loud indescribable noise out of both of my speakers. I have to turn off the DAC to stop it. I can resolve this by sending DSD via DOP, but I would like to think there is a solution to this issue. I've tried different USB cables, PCIE cards, etc. and nothing clears this up. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The only fix I have for J River is to select DOP in the prefs. It will send the DSD file in a PCM package (it does not convert it). The DAC will then unpack it and play the DSD file. There is a new ASIO driver on the Gustard site, but the link button does not work. I've emailed them and it will likely be fixed soon. Version 5.50 |
