HI Ei - since all that you are looking for is protection, I would get an electrician to install a whole house surge protection system rather than utilize the conditioners you are interested in. The Shunyata does not have surge protection ( it is in the Defender module). The Furutech is a good unit, but comes with an awful power cord, so if you get rid of that and use something decent, it would be a good unit to use. The Dectet WILL soften/damped/restrict dynamics, but I don't really know much about the Iso-Tek - sorry. Good luck! |
+1 for jwpstayman. A whole house surge protector would be the best way to go. They aren't very expensive (not counting installation), but will provide peace of mind. Remember, these are sacrificial, so if you do get zapped, you need to replace the unit. I just bought a couple of these, https://www.corepowertechnologies.com/ , but haven't gotten them yet. Lots of good feedback here on Agon. You can call Mark and give him your needs. I am sure he will point you in the right direction. Telephone – 720.317.9141 B |
Need something for surge protection which doesn't take away from current. Also cleaning /conditioning not required.https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Protector-Suppressor-ISOBLOK2-0/dp/B0000510R4/ref=pd_sbs_60_8?_enc... Come with $10K insurance, If you don't like it, just remove it from the outlet! |
