Pre-amp out splitter won't power subwoofers? it does power DSP unit.

Does your DSP unit have only 1 output per channel?

Running two (chained) SVS SB-2000 from left side (mono, of course) and one SB-3000 off the right channel. (Would like a 4th. Thanks, Erik; I've been reading your sub stuff lately and enjoy it.)

The DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0 had L&R analog outputs and balanced which I cannot use. Of course both are signals after DSP processing, room correction, (and/or a high pass to the D2s).

I tried a basic block Y outside the integrated's pre-out, and also right at the DSP's 'analog input' but got no sub signal, not a vibration. Perhaps putting the subs in the 'active' or powered analog output after the DSP provides enough signal to activate the sub's circuitry, not sure one bit. Guesses.

D2's have limited headroom downstairs and would love to relieve some of the burden trying to high pass. Hmm...  Thx.

I have several subs but so far the only method that powers them with a line-level signal is using a Y splitter coming from the DSP unit's analog line level outputs. In this mode I cannot use a high-pass filter on my mains to relieve them of bass 60 and under +/- as it feeds the subs as well.

That would be my preferred way to do it but if you want to split the lows from the highs, go into the sub, then out of the sub to your mains amp.  

I think russ69's idea will work just fine. Sounds reasonable to me, just haven't sketched this out. Depending on the distances, you may pick up some noise along the way?

Thx russ69.  Thinking of this, rca/line level connections in and out,etc:

STI, Pre-Out L&R both -- to--- SB3000 sub's L&R InPuts.

SB-3000 L&R Outputs to:  L is to DSPeaker L Input, R out to DSP R Input. (and from DSP output back to power amp w/room corr & altered signal for mains/D2s).

But to get a line level signal to both SB-2000 subs on left side of room?

Y off from SB-3000, just before going into LR inputs to DSPunit, and then run lines to both 2000 subs, or daisy chain both off one line, L or R?

I might very carefully try this. Perhaps the line-level output of the SB-3000 is sufficient to run the DSPeaker unit and activate/provide signal to run 2000 subs as well. Who knows?   :-)

Tried running into the SB-3000 and then back to power amp, and over to left side subs with Y connector. None of the 3 subs played but the mains still did.

Went back to Y out of DSPeaker unit and all subs play as well as mains but back to no way to high pass the mains.  Think I'll ask SVS for any ideas, finally.
