Power regenerators

How many folks here use them and how well do they really work. I have a line on a real nice Ps Audio P600 for a great price.

I used and liked a PurePower 1050 AC Regenerator for several years.

Did not like that it had to warm up for 45 minutes to get the full effect even if left on 24/7.

Regenerators do have an amplifier inside.

Switched to a Chang LightSpeed line filter and could not be happier.

No warmup!
I am currently using a PS Audio P5 to feed my system.  In the past, I owned a P500, and two PPPs.  The P5 was a real game changer compared to PS's earlier offerings.  I could not connect my power amp. to the PPP with our shutting down the regenerator...it simply wasn't a robust enough design to handle the amp.  With the P5, I have my amplifier plugged in with all sources and preamp and phono stage, I am only using 34% of its capacity.  Great dynamics and crystal clean sound.  I know some folks don't like regenerators, but my gear is  being fed .1%THD power!  I'm good with that!
