tomstruck- millercarbon thanks for the photos have looked at them many of timesThanks, there is a lot to study but they are a good 6 months out of date. There is a point where you can learn so much and so many ways of getting even more out of your system, and I am there and the improvements just keep coming. Hard enough to do let alone to document.
Several weeks ago took the turntable completely apart and revised a few things, mostly the bearing (yes I modified the bearing) but also the tone arm. Really wanted to take some pictures to show people but in the heat of the battle getting things done just too hard for my aged brain to switch tracks and play photographer/tech/photographer/tech.
Since the last pictures were taken there are now Townshend Pods under the turntable, amp, and phono stage. Podiums are ordered and should be here this week. Didn't want to take pictures of the test rig the Moabs are on now. It works and sounds good but looks like crap, and I get enough losers knocking me on looks as it is.
One thing to show, but would be a whole lot better if people could hear. Freaking amazing. Oh well. Images will have to do I guess. Just know when looking at the pictures, however good you might imagine it sounds, no, sorry, it sounds a whole lot better than that. Seriously. It does.
