Tubes for sure.
Popping & crackling please help!☹️
I’ve been getting some popping and crackling in the right channel for awhile now that seemed to come and go. Now it’s there all the time and the volume is really low and sounds like the speaker is under water. The left channel is fine. The popping sound only happens if I turn the volume up and goes away when turned all the way down. I tried swapping the speakers and it’s still only happening on the right side, so it not a speaker problem. I’m running a Rogue Cronus Magnum II that’s about two years old. Could it be the tubes? If so which ones? Power tubes? I tried swapping positions of all four power tubes (I don’t have a spare set of new ones) and nothing changed. You’d think if it was one bad power tube the popping sound might occur on the other side? Anyway, here’s the rest of my system if that helps? Appreciate any help here. Really frustrated! Thank you!
