pop sound between tracks

I noticed a pop noise between tracks yesterday streaming Quboz. Anyone else have this issue?   I have an Aurender A15.

I’ve got two Aurenders, no pops. I have in the past experienced pops when switching resolutions, it was always the DAC not the streamer.

I have Aurender N200 and used it with 3 DACs: Bricasti M3, PS Audio DSD and Chord Hugo TT2.  I use USB. Skipping from track to track there’s a very faint pop. Nothing major and barely noticeable. When the songs are played from the queue there is no pop going from song to song with different bit rates.

My apologies. I'm coming very late to this conversation. I have an Aurender N200, and recently acquired the MSB Discrete DAC. With this DAC I'm experiencing a clicking / ticking sound when the sample or bit rate changes from one track to the next in the playback queue. It only happens when the sample or bit rate changes. The Aurender conduct app confirms that this can happen. So too my dealer, confirming that it happens with other DACs. I nonetheless find the clicking sound annoying. Also annoying is that the Aurender conductor app has a playback delay function to allow the DAC to adjust to the new sample rate, but that has not resolved the issue. But thanks @mlsstl very much for your post and confirming that it does happen with certain DACs.

Thanks for the response. I will try this out. Funny though that I really only recall hearing it the last two days or so.

Check to see if it only happens when you switch resolutions between songs.  I've never had an Aurender, but I know with some other DACs I've had that it is common to hear a brief click when the DAC has to switch between a CD quality track (16/44.1K) and a hi-rez track (such as 24/96K.) This is because a different clock is used and sometimes even a different internal chip.

A simple test is to play a single album and see if you hear the noise in between songs. The songs on a single album should all be the same resolution so no switching is needed (though you may hear a click with the first song depending on what was previously played.)
