Interesting post. Sounds like an excellent idea.

@tuffy72561 Thanks Scott, that's really nice of you. Just to be clear, TC was used only on the connections.
The unit was completely stripped down everything was coated several times with the coating used in my other products.
I really had fun with it, enjoy!

My bad. Thanks for the clarification Tim. A few things I forgot to mention, but really significant, was the furthering of what I call a three dimensionality of the overall presentation along with added texture and fleshing out of the sound. My system has gained a more live sound to it....dynamic but not harsh at all! It feels like the the sound improves every several days as best I can tell. If it doesn't improve anymore, but I don't doubt that it will, I am already extremely satisfied with the results! |
<3 Timmy just told me your explosion date should be around the end of June. <3 Get prepared. <3 Buy an extra box of tissues. <3 LOL. <3

^^^ "Explosion date?" OMG!! The naysayers are gonna have fun with this one. *lol*
Tuffy ...
Very nice review. Treating the inside of the power conditioner is a great idea. I did mine completely, including the inside of the lid. There was a significant improvement in overall SQ just as you stated.

I tried a conditioner but it had a negative sound stage impact. I found that adding two dedicated a/c power runs cleaned things nicely.
My priority is to investigate room correction gear as that seems to produce very apparent results.

@mrs_ppt I turned my system on tonight and it sounds better again. It seems as though instruments and vocals are continuing to separate out more from one another and have more solidity and sound more like the real thing. I thought I was starting to hear some sounds or ambience just to the right of me instead of in front of me?? I can't wait for explosion time....by July 4! Maybe Overture of 1812 time! Lol
@firstnot
My Core Power Equi=Core 1800 is a not really a power conditioner according to Tim but a balanced voltage regulator. I will be putting my Core Power Equi=Core 1200 for sale next week. My stock 1200 easily beat my prior PS Audio Premier Power Plant which I liked. I am sure Tim could turn the 1200 into a wonderful piece of equipment for someone. |
I just wanted to update that between days 25 and 28 after Tim treated my CPT 1800 the performance of my system jumped up markedly for every day for several days. I figured this must be the 30 day jump in performance I was told to expect. For several days, now at day 37, since day 28 I have noticed no discernible change in system performance. I was told to expect a big jump in performance around the 60 day mark....the explosion date per Mrs_ ppt. Lol
Very very pleased so far. |
My final update as I am well past the 60 day mark since having Tim at Perfect Path Technologies apply his magical coating inside my Core Power 1800. All positive at this poi t is an I understatement as the sound of my system has been elevated well above what I ever thought was possible without major component and speaker upgrades. Everything described in my earlier posts has been greatly enhanced. About the 53 day mark was when things started changing quite a bit for the better for several days. I figured the expected big 60 day jump came a little early but then I had another nice but not huge increase in system performance a week later and was evsrauc and thought that was about it. Then I got another substantial and completely unexpected increase in performance this last weekend again around the 75 day mark. I was quite shocked at the overall coherence, soundstage size (very high, wide and deep now), dynamics, detail, timbre of instruments and beauty of female vocals are all greatly enhanced. Anyhow not to go on too much but this is by far the most worthwhile thing I have ever done to my system!! If anyone is thinking about upgrading any component, cable or speakers in their system I would first recommend having this treatment done to your power conditioner and then just sit back and just wait and enjoy the show! All I can say is it is shockingly wonderful what this treatment has done to my system!!! |
I have been perusing past threads.. this one is particularing pleasing!! |
It this scientifically explicable or is it truly magical? It just seems so ...weird. |
A sufficiently advanced or impenetrable technology is indistinguishable from magic. - Dennis Hopper |
I believe that attribution lies with Arthur C. Clarke. |
|
Not close enough. The OP used the "magical" word. The impenetrable technology seems to be sufficiently advanced for no one to question it. |
Way to go for the bait. 🐠 Did you skip your smart pill today? |
It this scientifically explicable Pretty sure. But you guys won't like it. Especially the one who appears to be the world's most comprehensively misinformed theoretical physicist. Matter has anti-matter. Intellect has.... him. |
