True, but you do get old and a target for Q-19 .
Been there.
Been there.
I just don't see John not being fair about this. It took me several e-mails recently to reach them, as they are really dealing with Covid effects. I would try to be patient and try calling. At a minimum I don't see them taking money and not refunding if they can't produce a solution. Just not their style. |
@johnpascali -- I've dealt with Ohm for many years (had a set of the original Ohm Fs in the late 1970s and own Ohm 1000s today) and have always found them one of the most straightforward companies out there. Something tells me there is more to the story than Ohm just taking your money and stiffing you. |
There was a 4 and an 8 ohm version, it seems, so check which one: https://reconingspeakers.com/product/phenolic-ring-tweeter-8-ohms/ I'm not an Ohm expert, but this seems to be your tweet. The price is right. :) |

THe parts and service for that very early (probably rare) model is here: Ohm B | Legacy Products | Ohm Speakers | Custom Audiophile Speakers for Music & Home Theater Shows tweeters as available. Did you talk to Ohm? John Strohbeen? Says they are worth $500 (original cost many years ago) for trade-in as well THough shipping costs might eat some of that. All needed for trade-in usually is cabinets that can be refurbed, not working drivers. |
