Mirror for cartridge set up?

Has anyone found an effective cartridge set up tool with a mirror? The one that came with my vpi does not inspire confidence. Thank-you

The Turntable Basics version will ultimately cost you $20 more than the MintLP version, because 5 minutes after receiving the Turntable Basics version you'll throw it out and order a MintLP protractor.
LOL! So true...

I actually have two TTB protractors (one bought, one supplied with my TriPlanar). I keep them for one reason, to sandwich around my Mint to protect it when it's sitting in the drawer.
My brother has the MintLP version and we checked my setup after using the Turntable basics version just cause we could. No adjustment was necessary. Plus it was $110.00 in lieu of $20 for the TB version. Hey, it worked for me.
good luck,

In the meantime, download the custom arc protractor tool from Conrad Hoffman. IMHO it will facilitate a more accurate setup than the Turntable Basics version even without a mirror.
Turntable Basics version works great. As a bonus I can slip it behind my pre-amp so I can find & see the recepticles when pluging in cables.

The VPI gizmo isn't bad, but after setting up my cartridge with a MINT, the sound was improved.
