Just FYI,I bought my McIntosh MHA 100 from a respected reseller. When it arrived, I hooked it up using the digital input. It had an intermittent short, so I had to have a local tech repair it. $200 later, it works fine! I contacted the reseller, and while they were sympathetic, the repair was on me.
Look, buying electronic stuff can be frustrating. Things happen. I can’t comment on the 240V European cord (stupid mistake) but you should be able to use this mishap to get a discount the next time you purchase equipment from the same dealer. I do hope you enjoy the amp when the replacement arrives. I’m enjoying mine, but I still rely on my Benchmark DAC/Stax T1S amp/ Stax 009 system for critical listening.
