Best Headphone regardless of price

No. 1 is Stax Omega Headphone, not sure if it's still in production. Sold for $5K.

There's a new Stax Omega 2, called "007", $7k with amp, I believe. Since money is no object, you could buy me one as well, "Kl". I have no shame when it comes to audio charity...well, I have some, but I'd deal with it, that's for sure!

I would have to say its the Sennheiser Orpheus!!!! Trust me I have tried every system from Omega I to Omega II to Holmes Powell, Melos headphone amps, The Max, Grado RS-1 and Sennheiser HD-600, ... ... ... But I think the best is Sennheiser Orpheus.

I have to agree with the above gentleman, the Sennheiser Orpheus is the best. I tried the Stax Omegas and the Sennheisser to me has the better sound.

In what way?
