Mcintosh or Tributaries series 8 ab mk11 balanced interconnects, thoughts good or bad

I purchased 4 Mcintosh 1 meter balanced interconnects for my mac. system. I noticed some improvement over my Home made cables. Mostly that they were a little quieter . I found a little less noise or harshness in the music. But I wasn't totally happy with them. My home mades have good and bad to. I have 60 days to return, so I purchased Tributaries series 8 to compare them with.Thoughts of the two or other options appreciated .

Unless something has changed recently McIntosh branded cables are Tributaries cables.

I’d suggest doing a trial of these Ice Age interconnects that use high quality copper that’s cryo treated and only cost $225/3 feet so could save you $$$.

Here’s a review that compares them very favorably to the Acoustic Zen Silver Reference II that I use and that cost upwards of $1900/1m, so if the Ice Age interconnects get close in performance to these there’s a good chance they’ll at least give your other interconnects a real run for the money and then some. Hey, it’s a free trial so why not? Best of luck.
