Crown DCI series

Hello all,

I've been using a crown XLS 1500 with a tube pre and I think it sounds damn good especially for the 200 bucks I've got in the amp. I was going to buy another new one for a sub and ran across a DCI 4/300 on Craigslist for $400. Retails at over 2k. This thing looks brand new and even still has the plastic on the front. Has anyone compared the XLS series to the DCI? I won't have a chance to hook it up till Monday. I will say it looks feels and weighs much more substantial than the XLS.

I answered my own question. Its way better than the XLS 1500. Noise free, smooth, got rid of the slight grayness of the XLS, dynamic as all hell, clear a as a bell. I would not imagine anyone complaining about the high end on this one as its very open and clean. Bass articulation is preserved even at whisper quiet levels which is kind of unique IME. This is one powerful amplifier. 

Does have some fan noise.
