Looking for must have classical on vinyl recommendations

I have searched the forums for classical suggestions but did not find a thread focused on vinyl. With mainstream genres I have learned over the years certain pressings to look for and certain albums who’s recordings are special. I would love to pick up a few classical albums which fall in this category and see if they pull me in. Someone can recommend a composer but then it could have been played by so many different orchestras and in so many different venues. It is a bit overwhelming for a newbie. Any specific catalog numbers to recommend? Thanks!
