I use a Sophia Baby in my office. If your speakers are efficient enough to handle it those are 10 sweet watts. Very reasonable on the used market too. |
To my knowledge, Stello is a South Korean company, so it is disqualified from the U.S., Canadian, European manufacture. And you are looking for an amplifier only as you have a preamp. The Sophia is actually manufactured in China, although the company is U.S. based. I'll work on some suggestions, just want to make clear some wrong assumptions. |

PS Audio Trio series amps are pretty cool if you are looking new. If used I would go for the Linn LK-85. I had one of them and really liked it, it just plain sounded right. Good luck. |

Monarchy Audio SM-70 or SM-70 Pro. Really great sounding class-A solid state amps, made in the good ol' USA. Used price is typically $300-$450 (depending on model SM-70 or SM-70 Pro).
The Monarchys do run hot (like any class-A amp), so they need a bit of breathing room.
Also, the Monarchys are pretty popular, so you can buy one, try it and easily re-sell it if you don't love it. I've owned a pair of them twice and both times re-sold them within a day or two for the same price I paid.

i don't remember. it will have a clear cover to it. it sounded fantastic. i'm thinking about purchasing 1 when it comes out. i wrote jolida and they said feb. the decco also sounded very good. its between those 2. a little bit more $$$ and the primaluna integrated is very nice. |
I still love my Bel Canto monoblocks and the stereo version is the S300 at $1300, less through Underwood HiFi (Wally). Runs cool, made in the US, beautifully manufactured, very efficient, uses little electricity, (you can leave it on all the time if you like), has a small footprint, warm tube-like sound. Good luck! |
A used Red Wine Audio Signature 30.2 cannot be beaten in this application, in my opinion. |

Was it the JD10, a little square unit with a glass "cage"? If so, then it's 10W/cg with three inputs, remote control and retails for $399.00. Jolida also makes the JD1301 hybrid intergrated: 30w/ch, 4 inputs, no remote for $390.

Second vote for RWA . Easy placement, runs cool, sounds good - I can not imagine someone being unhappy with this little giant.
Perfect for bedroom. That's where I've used it, so does/did Srajan Ebaen of 6moons.

thats probably it. it did have a glass cage. i used to own the jd1301 for my den and it is a giant killer imo. both the jd10 and the jd1301 produce more power than their specifications indicate. |
