Gonna serve me up some of that Little Richard tonight for sure. He was certainly a very talented man with a lot to offer and he had his special way of doing it. May he RIP.
Just remembered my first recording of his was given to me by my mom, was a live recording at a small venue in the latter 60s and it was absolutely electric, it was on 8 track and as it would go bad, from use, would toss it out the window of my 65 GTO cussin my ass off going streight to replace it. Damn I love that memory
I saw and met Little Richard at the opening of a car dealership In Delta ,BC ; a good ways back; probably early 80's. The guy was sharp, sober and all business. Put on a great show. Had to be paid in full, in cash, before he would step on stage !!
