Linear Power Supply Recommendations!

While I realize linear power supplies share the same basic principle—using a transformer to step down voltage, rectification to convert AC to DC, and regulation to maintain a steady output….there are several factors that ultimately differentiate their performance in a specific application.

Did you find one particular LPS performed better than the others?  I am looking for a dual output 12V / 3A power supply to power my Telegartner Opt Bridge 1000M.

Ferrum HYPSOS Dual Output with its ‘Sweet Spot Tuning’ has caught my attention. Any users out here that is currently using this LPS?

A good friend told me to buy a professional lab rated LPS as they are cheaper then Audiophile ones and made to a higher standard.

I used an Sbooster with my Auralic Mini it's built like a tank and was a solid improvement. Not familiar with the Ferrum HYPSOS.

I've been extremely happy with Farad for my DAVE.  Don't worry about international shipping. it was invisible. Good exchange rate now.

That seems reasonable, but incomplete.  Did they give you any more specific information, like maker name, specs to look for, sites to shop?  Just buying an LPS because it's cheaper doesn't seem like much of a guarantee of better performance.
