Korf TA AF 10 tonearm feedback?

@ Dover , your statement about azimuth is incorrect and misleading. Indeed there is azimuth adjustment on the Korf arm. Better to own one before making such a statement.

I made the statement because I asked the designer about the non offset bearings & azimuth when the 1st preproduction run was in process.

If it has azimuth adjustment then that is different to what I was told by the designer in an email he sent me.

Notwithstanding that, with non offset bearings when you change VTA the azimuth goes out and needs to be reset every time you adjust VTA.

Good choice - I'm sure you will be happy - the Triplanar is a very good arm, and it is easy to set up very accurately, which is a big plus in my book.

Thanks all for the feedback. Seems consistent with an owner’s experience on WBF. I decided to go the Tri-planar route.

That was timely - I was thinking of trying the Korf Headshell - but there are reviews that suggest it is light and lean. I had decided not to.

I also looked at the Korf arm - the issue I have is that it has non offset bearings which means that when you adjust VTA the azimuth goes out, and there is no adjustment for azimuth. I confirmed this with the designer.

A flawed design in my opinion.

Not tried their tonearm, but I did try the Korf ceramic headshell. Gotta say, I did not like it at all. Very dry, tight, and lean sounding that robbed the music of air and dynamism..
