Kef blade 1 meta

Thinking of pairing these speakers with a pair of class d monoblocks (Atmasphere, Mytek, mola mola, and, etc. ) Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated

@kr4 1! The OP should consider a pair of the Fosi V3 Monos with the 48 volt power supplies. These are giant-killer Class D amps. Spending thousands of $$$$ on those other amps is IMO a waste of money.

I have no experience with anything FOSI but I used monobloc Benchmark AHB2s with my Blade 2 Metas.  The dirt cheap Buckeye Eigentakt Monoblocs were dandy, too.

Still not a fan of class D, although I need to hear the Atma-sphere. Did like the Audio Gan for class D but I think they still fell a bit short.

I hope to audition the Atma-Sphere class Ds in the next week or so. I’ll try to remember to report back here my findings. If I like them, I’d use them in a 2nd system which is a more intimate setting. Musicality first. Authority and impact are not unimportant, but secondary considerations.

@mapman - didn’t know you had a pair of Ohm Fs. I had a pair I bought used about 1983. Loved them but they required so much more power than I had at the time (a David Hafler 100w/channel amp which struggled) with the roughly <80 db sensitivity. I’m actually considering a pair of the new Ohms for a small system - I think they could be fun. But I have fond memories of the Fs. You mentioned driving them with class Ds. May I ask which amp?

Hi @mgrif104

I have ohm F5s which are newer CLS drivers in refurbed F cabinets.
