Growing up with top-40 am (only music source during that era) that was a well remembered and much liked song with me as well.Wow, you were really missing out! Nash hit the charts with "I Can See Clearly Now" in 1972, when the progressive FM rock stations were in still in full swing. By ’72, AM Top 40 had already begun its sharp decline. Of course, if you weren't in the US, things might have been different for you.
