Is HPS an advertiser or supporter of Audiogon

Just adding that there sure seems to be an ethical problem with this site however I respect the Audiogon owners are totally free to do as they please for profit or whatever motive. It is a private site and answers only to the owners.

Sure seems biased to me. I thought there was something in your constitution about FREE SPEECH... unless you tweet Fake News afterwards.

 There is no guaranty of freedom of speech on a private site. They are free to censor what they want.

I ran into a very similar situation on audiocircle. Bought two preamps and an amp off a company that has a manfacturer thread. My equipment had bad parts, and I found other people who bought from this smaller audio brand had problems too. I lost much money when I got rid of this junk. The forum moderator (who was the owner/designer of stated junk) banned me from posting. Audio forums are first for positive advertising, NOT for owner exchanges that might be brutally honest or negative. Audio forums are not really forums for a fair exchange of ideas...... IMHO.

I’m not of the opinion that you are trying to ask a question, I’m of the opinion that you are in the frame of mind to attempt to do harm to Audiogon via posting what looks like --- forcing an association upon Audiogon .....and then standing back and attacking it.

The OP and the second post, both by you, do indeed provide very straightforward proofs of that.

If allowed to exist, as a thread, it will devolve and expand...and end up being some giant spleen venting thread. With a misleading title and intensity/value regarding the opening aspects.

Where it will finally arrive at maybe someone venting about how they hated the way their brother brushed their teeth when they were kids, or someone’s disgust with the color blue. Or maybe green. . And so on, over and over.

These things do not a good forum make.

As an aside, I just checked. 6800 posts (as of this writing) ----and you’ve never bought or sold an item here.

No harm intended. I actually think this excellent site could be even better if moderating here were not so much influenced by commercial considerations.
