I've been seeing AI-generated chat on corporate websites for quite a while, I believe. 

If it's more responsive and accurate than some human product and tech support, I like it....

I am really hoping they'll just feed all the service manuals, stuff that doesn’t make it into  the regular manuals, etc to the house AI. It is tiring... barking with some low info dude/drone for a week before one can get escalated to an engineer or not.

Long list of brands who need to go this route ...Sony, Trinnov, Storm, etc

Yes. I am sure it is. But we will go through their growing pains. If I have to take to Verizon or Apple one more time and go through the same routine I’m going to loose it. AI will be many times better… at some point.
