I've been seeing AI-generated chat on corporate websites for quite a while, I believe.
If it's more responsive and accurate than some human product and tech support, I like it....
I am really hoping they'll just feed all the service manuals, stuff that doesn’t make it into the regular manuals, etc to the house AI. It is tiring... barking with some low info dude/drone for a week before one can get escalated to an engineer or not.
Long list of brands who need to go this route ...Sony, Trinnov, Storm, etc
