I recently saw & heard I'm With Her on one of the late night talk shows, and liked what I heard. Liked what I saw, too ;-).

Sara Jaroze was at the Aladdin in September (?) and all three, Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O'Donovan. were at revolution Hall
a couple of weeks ago.
Tickets for the first show (Sold out) was $20.00
The show at revolution Hall was 35.00, Included a download or CD; also sold out.

Damn Brad, I just missed 'em! I saw Joan Osborne at The Aladdin---love those kinds of theaters. I saw Jerry Douglas at Revolution Hall not too long ago. I tend to like older voices more than young ones, but there are exceptions.

How was the JO show? Was she acoustic, with a band???

I doubt if she'll come close to my area, so I need to live through you.

@slaw, Joan was great! She had her piano player and guitarist for accompaniment---who both sang good harmony, but no rhythm section. What a voice!

Long time fan of all three of these girls going back to the very beginning of each of their careers.....this was a highly anticipated album for me. They are great together and perhaps even better individually. Aoife O’Donovan has one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard.

Although it is a good album, given the level of talent here, I was hoping/expecting something much better. Frankly I was a little disappointed with the content and sonics on this album. I’d have preferred a more traditional take on the music which is where they really shine. The vocals are to very forward in the mix...a common theme on Sarah Jarosz and Aoife’s solo albums too. Unfortunate.

I sure hope to get a great album out of Aoife O’Donovan at some point as she has a voice and expressiveness for the ages.
