How good are the Audience Au24 SX speaker cables?

How good are the Audience Au24 SX speaker cables?  I read that the SX is a big improvement over the SE.  I am currently using the Triode Wire Labs SC and wondering if the SX would be a good upgrade.  Has anyone ever compared the 2?  I am looking for significant sound improvement over the TWL without breaking the bank.  Thanks.

Respected usedcables.com they have plenty , you can loan or borrow , I think they charge 10% fee on the price of the cables, if you decided to buy, the fee will be  waived...
I own many TWL cables of all sorts, as well as the Audience SE speaker cables. TWL are excellent within and above their price points, but Audience would be in another league. My SE speaker cables have an unbelievable clarity and openness and are for the most part free of their own sound. The SX are supposed to have changed somewhat with a fuller midrange I believe. The Cable Company often has Audience specials going on, worth giving them a call.
Thanks, Jay and Jay, for your feedbacks.  Another cable I've heard good things about is the Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme.  Any experience with that cable?  Is it pretty much in the same league as the TWL?  Thanks again.
@respected_ent

I'm currently looking into new speaker cables and have strongly considered TWL American SC. What are you looking to improve upon over the TWL SC? Thanks for any insight.

Cheers,

Scott
Respected read Ozzy’s thread about CT Graphene cables it’s all there, I have both speaker cable and Ic, they are superb, I have not heard TWL cables...
jayctoy, when you say it's all there in that thread, is there people that have compared them with the Audience AuSX speaker cables?  I think the OP is more curious about how the Audience stack with with some more of these affordable brands.  jaybe above mentions that the Audience is in another league compared to the TWLs.
I used to own the Au24  speaker cable, I don’t remember being dynamic in my system...I like their au24 ic and pc.
I had a home audition a couple of weeks ago and submit they are very, very good. No matter what I think, with cables it's more about system synergy than my opinion of how they sound in my system.
The latest Audience Au24SX cables are quite, quite extraordinary!
Ive progressed from the Au24e to the SE and now the SX.
The SX cables almost represent a system upgrade, with an unsurpassed level of realism and natural timbre, decay and imaging, that transports me to the recording venue.
Ive progressively connected all my components with the SX variant bringing about a synergy which doesn't impose any sonic signature, but actually builds on its strengths .
Unhesitatingly recommended !

Thanks! for sharing- ashsbnrg

I have only heard the AU24e IC and SP. I did like the interpretations / presentations way back then.
Happy Listening!

I still have the AU24. Auditioned many cables from cableco in the same price range. Nothing better at the price for my system.
I replaced the TWL with the Au24 SX.  Significant improvement!  Not that TWL is bad, but the Au24 SX is just in a different league like Jaybe said.  I still think TWL is an excellent cable and hard to beat in the price range up to $2k.
I'll be getting my Au24's back from Audience this week. They underwent repair and upgrade. I've always enjoyed these cables along with their power chords and interconnects. Looking forward to hearing the upgrade!

Much Thanks! Guys

it seems that I have been away from Audience for far too long. I will have to re-visit this brand as soon as possible.

Happy Listening!

I own the TWL SC, and PC and absolutely loved them!  They, however, don't have the same soundstage as the Au24SX.  Where the TWL's are a bit more "forward" the Au24SX is slightly warmer with more depth. Both are killer when it comes to midrange (without being lackluster in the highs or bass).  And as a matter of fact, the TWL has slightly better bass, but the Au24SX has better bass extension and decay. You can't go wrong with either.  However, I would say if you didn't really care about price, the nod would go toward the Audience Au24SX (not by much). And the longer you allow them to burn-in the sweeter the sound.  While I'm not a fabulist or prone to hyperbole I can say so far these are the best over-all cables I've heard and or owned.
I use the AU24 SX speaker cables, which I purchased new, with my Magico A3 speakers. With the caveat that I have not tried other cables with these speakers -- also relatively new -- I find the SX's near faultless. Their bass in very tight and deep; midrange is fluid and melodic. The only minor criticism I may have is that they lack some sparkle at the very top end, but with the A3's this may be a blessing in disguise. With my previous speakers, I used bi-wired Valhalla 1 speaker cables, which some say were thin and tipped up in the highs, so perhaps that is what I became accustomed to.
The SX's may not dazzle, but that is a compliment. They are excellent performers that are easy to live with and are an exceptional value.
