BEST SPEAKER THAT COMES TO LIFE AT LOW LISTENING LEVELS
If it is speakers, Klipsch Cornwall IVs.  I own a pair, best low level listening I have heard.  But I would try sjgak suggestion and try the Schist Loki Max first.
Has anyone actually heard the Dali Epikore 11? Impressions welcome.
These might be my end game.  I would have to cash out on some of my investments to make it happen.  I'm in really good shape there but does not mean my wife will let it happen.  To be fair, she has been very supportive of my spending in this expen...
Rosso Fiorentino Arno 40 speakers Great speakers/Beautiful music
Thanks teajay. I don’t listen that loud these days, probably 65-75 dbs. I was looking at getting the Dali Epikore 11s, but I am definitely going to look into the Arno 40s. I think that one would be an easier sell on the wifey. :-)

teajay, I read your review with intrigue.  I didn't see any rock or pop recordings in your review.  How would you characterize these speaker with that type of music?
Speakers for low-level listening
I have a McIntosh MA 8900 as well.  Mine is paired with the Klipsch Cornwall IVs.  I listen at low levels most nights, I haven't felt the need to mess the the EQ at all, I seem to be able to get good frequency extension without it.

testiengraber.  Yes, I have the USB, best I have tried.  For USB I have used Audioquest, Kimber Axios and Technerov.
Biwiring make any sense?
Dumb question.  How about owning biwire speaker cables but the speakers have only two terminals instead of 4?   Is the signal split and flows into the naked or unhooked up wire?  Any negative impact on the sound from that?
Has anybody heard the Dynaudio Evoke 50?
I just set up the Evoke 50s in one of my systems.  Sounds good out of the box.  Does this speaker have a long run in time?

Lak, that is not the case with my set.  There are two wires coming out of the speaker cable, one for each side.  There is a separate wire that is not attached to anything that goes to the outlet ground connector.  I will give Captain a call

Lak, thanks, I get that part, but there are two other wires, one for each speaker cable side, that I assume go on the terminals of the amp. If so which output terminal? I already have Rel Subwoofer wire on some of the output terminals.   I took ...

Jetter, I have the SP-14s.  I just hooked them up, not sure how to hook up the ground wire so I have to call Cap to figure that out.  But just the speaker cables alone, there was a noticeable difference between the SP-14s and the Canare.  The SP-1...

Will do Jetter. I know the Canare are cheap, but my goodness they seem pretty darn good to me. I haven’t found anything worth replacing them with yet. I haven’t tried extremely expensive stuff as cables go. The most expensive was some $2400 Audien...

I like the IC so much I ordered the SP-14 speaker cables.  I currently have the Canare 4s11, which I really really like.  I also ordered the USB cable to give it a try.
LAIV Harmony
I am perplexed by the brightness take.  I'm not experiencing that, at all.    Lak, in the comments Hans said he burned it in for 168 hours before starting the review.

Yes, but keep in mind at the time of this posting I only have about 22 hours on them. The AEs have more coherence, detail, and extension. Instruments have more spacing and definition within the stage. Guitars specifically have more crunch. The Due...
