How can I protect ML 436 monoblocks amplifiers?

Can I espect a protection with the PS AUDIO POWER PLANT PREMIER POWER REGENERATOR ?

Can he handle with my 2 amplifiers Mark Levinson 436?

Or only considerar this AC REgenerator for the sources, turntable and cd palyer and pre-amplifier?

A PS Audio P-10 power regenerator would be a very good solution to your problem.

There is a Multi Voltage Transformer made by Swallow company in Japan.
You need SWALLOW-SU-3000 (3000 Watts) Weight 22kg.
You can put the input at 240V/50Hz and get 230V/50Hz output.
This will protect your Amp very expensive about $850.

I am sorry, I don't have any advice but did not want to ignore your request for information. Anyone here has any ideas? Perhaps you can contact PS audio directly.

The Power Plant Premier can't handle 2 amplifiers. I used two premiers, then I switched to the P10, which easily handles an entire system, with no fan noise.
Highly recommended.

Many manufacturers do not recommend using power regenerators on power amps. This is a question for a ML dealer or contact ML directly.
Also, using a power conditioner/regenerator on a power amp might possibly change the sonic characteristics of the amp.

My advice is to research high quality passive surge protection for the amps. Also, it sounds like you need the power company to check the line voltage coming into your home.

I contacted both MLevinson support, and they inform me to contact the ML distributor to Portugal, the company Genesis Technologies Iberica, but I didn't receive any reply from this company.

You could use just one P10 but you'd be better off with 2. You can use the P10 to power the other units as well.

In the mean time my local dealer inform me that have a second hand unit of the Power Plant Premier to sell.
So I ask again to Paul if this unit cand handle to the ML 436 monobocks and receive this:

In order to regulate the incoming voltage you would need to go with one of the regenerators. Since they are pulling 560W each I would recommend a P10 or two P5s. These would provide protection, regulation of the voltage and filtering of the incoming power.

When you used the 2 Power Plant Premier , you use each one for each amplifier? The results are good?

You change because you need to connect alkl the system in one device?

I did have 2 amps, and I divided them and the rest of my system between the 2 Premiers. The results were excellent, with the exception of the fan noise, which was very loud. I ended up buying 2 computer fans, and placing each one under the Premiers. This provided enough cooling, so that the internal fans didn't go on. I auditioned the P10 when it came out, and felt that it was just as effective as the Premiers. The sound was a little bit richer and fuller in the midrange. One P10 handles my entire system, and is dead quiet. It is really an excellent unit.
