High end Dual

Does anyone remember that mid 80's attempt by Dual to compete with the sota at that time? I bought this 3 hung sprung Dual in gloss piano black for a grand which I returned after a couple days,... complete garbage. 3 pods housing the suspension kinda like an Oracle. I don't remember the model and I can't find it anywhere on the net.
Anyone?

You can argue the point but I know what I bought. Sooner or later it will appear.
High-end Dual tables of the time were the CS5000, CS7000 and the Golden One - all variants on the same design.  None had suspension pods although all were suspension designs.  I own a CS5000 and 3 other Duals at the moment.  For the time the contemporary Duals were very good tables, designed around an arm (the ULM) most suited for high compliance cartridges.
I bought it at a high end shop in London, ON., Canada in around 1987. I don't remember the name of the shop.

Dual has been out of business a long time ago .Like many "audio" firms they are just a name owned by a marketing firm which has something thrown together now and then .
I was just curious if anyone had an opinion on it. Seems Dual is too embarrassed to list it.
... which would explain why the Alexandria model I referenced is labeled in the official Oracle history as “Alexandria 2”

there are all sorts of reasons why names shift (I own AQ Horizon cable which is the same as AQ WEL signature but there was some issue with the name ... )

Not an Oracle. Definitely Dual. I bought one of the 2 first Oracle tables in '78. The name tag read 'Alexandria', later to be renamed the Delphi
Your memory is failing you. The Oracle Delphi preceded the Alexandria, which was introduced as a budget alternative to the Delphi.  Details are here.

I don't recall any Dual that fits your description.
Not an Oracle. Definitely Dual. I bought one of the 2 first Oracle tables in '78. The name tag read 'Alexandria', later to be renamed the Delphi by virtue of 2nd gen with some small novel changes. I replaced that Dual with an Oracle Paris, also costing a grand. It otoh, is a great table.
I bought a new Dual 622 for $300 new in 1981. At that time there was one Dual model more expensive, the 645 or something like that,  but the salesman talked me out of it, said that it wasn't worth it. Sorry but I don't recall the Dual model you are referring to.
