Proceed repair is an expensive flat rate affair should it ever need service. It's a nice sounding unit but it's dated.

I am looking at a Proceed AVP 2+6 right now and I dont know if this unit will do the same thngs that the newer units will do. like different formats like Blu Ray.

It has a 6 channel analog input which will let you input 5.1 analog sources including the output from BR players with built-in decoders for HD formats. Not all BR players will do that. In addition, it does not offer any room EQ facilities that are almost de rigeur in modern processors. IMHO, it not the equivalent of the newer units. That said, it is supposed to be excellent at what it does. Kal |
