Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?
Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact. My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.
For those interested in trying out vibration control on the cheap, I recommend getting the grungebuster 1.6mm standard sheet, and cutting it into 1" x 1" squares. This will give you 40 squares! This is enough to treat 10 components, if you use 4 squares per component. Below is a link to the product:

Do the Isocleans or the Bybee conditioner have any surge protection?
If not, then I would advise investing in a parallel filter conditioner with surge protection, or replacing what you have above with the 1800. It’s generally best not to daisy chain units for the best transient response, PRAT, and dynamics, unless specifically designed to.
I’m very happy that you started Core Power Tech, as the industry is only better with nice guys like you and Walter providing great products at phenomenal prices.

I have a bunch of equipment, and have questions like kazuist. I am wondering if I can still get that Wow feeling by adding something new. It's always fun to get that Shazam feeling. But hard to understand how it can keep getting better. Logic tells me that there are diminishing returns. Currently I'm using a PS Audio P-1000 on my digital side. And feeding the analogue side I have a pair of Isoclean 3030 in series, feeding a Jack Bybee conditioner. And I have a good selection of cables. ... I feel a little bit stupid to confess this. But, I just realized I could do better. If I would be plugging the Isoclean into one of the isolated outlets on the P-1000 instead of just plugging the two sides into different wall outlets as far apart as I could. I remember that I thought about this when I set it up though. Oh well. Sometimes reconsidering things is good. I have to wonder. I read that it is advised, to place your products after the regenerator. That's what I would have thought. If you were me, hat would you do, using your products to get that wow ? What advice might you offer ? It's hard to believe that I'm heading for more AC gear. But I'm a believer. Because I know how satisfying it can be to get that wow. And here's something that makes me mad. There's a little florescent light on the opposite side of the room. And when turning it off. I hear the very audible pop sound from the stereo if it's on. I think it might have even zapped my Mark Levinson 360S. Unbelievable. I've been thinking about putting a Monster unit in front of the Isocleans. To be sacrificial in part. But also trying a band aid approach. I know that with some effort, I can diagnose. And find out about that pop. What do you think ?
BTW I have some old Jack Bybee speaker tails. I used to never believe that anything in the speaker cable could improve the sound. Well, I learned differently. Because of some weird speaker wire connections, I used it connected to the amps. Nothin' special. Just making a connection. Well, then I read on a forum that I should reverse the polarity. And ... WOW !! Just like that. ... That was fun. ... So, can I do it again ?

Thanks Kemp - we feel very certain about this product. We ran late as amazingly (and more apt - sadly) we lost our PCB Designer as he suddenly passed away (56 y/o)... we lost two valuable members this year and they are so missed and SO appreciated. Humbled for sure...

The "Deep Core" has me intrigued as well, it may be a real game changer. I'm enjoying my E=Q 300, but the way owners are reacting to their new E=Q 1800s makes me really want to invest in one of those bad boys. The bigger 1800 would let me plug in all my gear, including my flat screen, and get the benefits of balanced power for all my equipment.
My humble opinion is that you might do well allowing me to loan you a smaller E=C unit to test in your 2-wire environment.
We've had success with this - and I'm not in any way discounting your question or discussion - but the best way to find out is to try it for yourself and let me know how it works.

Actually, I meant that from the perfect power conditioner we firstly expect a complete purification, as if our wall socket would be ideal in all respects. And then, when all the flaws already fixed, we can add something new, that any wall socket can't give us. (Like balanced scheme, doubledfrequency, Rick's magnetic conductivity and etc) This is my point of view.
But if you fully complete the first, and add the second as user selectable feature - it's the best. I hope this is your way.

OK, Mark, I understand that you are preparing something very cool. I'm only asking you to not only make the new way of enhancement, but also implement the basic function of classic regenerator: bring all electricity parameters to their reference values. This is why we love regenerators - they are complex solution for all power deviations. (Maybe they are not perfect, but still.)
And you have not answered my question about absence of grounding in my house. How balanced technology will perform from socket with only two pins ("hot" and neutral), which have no GND pin. (Like that.)

I'm really glad we have taken a power right hook to the noise in your system environment. I am truly amazed at what E=C does in my own home system as well as the test systems here at Emerald Physics. The drop in noise is significant and the resultant effect is not subtle. Our systems here "find the beat" and really let it loose.
That said - the essence of the performance flows like never before - we get concussive bass - but presented in a very real and revealing manner. I could not agree more about the decay of the instruments - and the attack is equally stunning. I'm normally not all that eager to have at "the subjective" here - but I just want to say that I agree with you... (and then some :))...
The larger units have quickly become the darling - but our little guys are a great way for folks to get in on this too... Starting with The Front End one can quickly find our what Balanced Power can mean to their music and their system.

There is a very long story to told about The Power Plant (PS Audio) and my involvement at the outset of Paul's re-start of the company - and my contribution along with Doug Goldberg's. One day that story will be told here - but lets just say I understand the benefits of "regeneration" and how it works - and why it can work so well.
Given that obtuse opener - let me just say that the Father of the PS Audio Multi-wave platform is in fact Doug Goldberg. This is the very same guy that has worked with me since 1990 and is the Father of Deep Core.
kazuist - you actually hit the nail right on the head when you talk about Regeneration and Wave Form Manipulation (re Correction)... Our Deep Core product which is in final dev right now actually addresses this very phenomenon but we do so in an ingenious way that allows the connected Transformers to talk to each other in a more "perfect way" and allow for the very best and optimized environment to be used between your wall and your gear. I cannot say more or Doug will kill me... :)
The Deep Core will work perfectly with our EQUI=CORE products to produce the closest thing to a perfect environment for your equipment from an AC Power Source perspective.
As it relates to Regenerated Power - we personally believe that anything over 200 or 300 watts done this way is probably not a good idea. Very inefficient and not a PLUS performance in our book when compared to Pure Balanced Power (technique). EQUI=CORE really works and will bring your amps (and system total) to a performance level you have not experienced. This is quite a statement - but it's truly the feedback we have and our own experience. The lower power units have proved they work super-well with low draw products (typically front ends) - and the larger ones work great with front ends as well as power amps.
I received my Equi=Core 1200 four weeks ago and wanted to offer my experience with it thus far. I was suffering with very noisy AC power in a new house I moved into several months ago. My components would hum and buzz when I turned them on and additional noise could be heard through the speakers even with my preamp muted. It seemed the noisy power was compromising the performance of my system as well. Playing music on my system just wasn’t as enjoyable as it was in my previous house.
Immediately after unboxing the 1200, I plugged all my components into it including the turntable, phono stage, preamp and power amplifier. When I powered up the system, there was no humming or buzzing coming from the components at all. There was complete silence from the speakers as well, except for a small amount of tube rush. I was impressed.
I put on a record I had just listened to prior to installing the 1200. It is a very good recording, but there are only a couple of songs on the record that I enjoyed and typically I never listened to the others. Within the first few seconds of the first song I realized there was a major improvement in the sound of my system. I listened to both sides of the record twice.
The first thing that hit me (almost literally) was how tight, punchy, fast and articulate the bass became. It wasn’t any deeper (more on that in a bit), but it had a concussive, “punch you in the chest” kind of a feel. It was very easy to differentiate every note of the bass line in each song because the notes seem to start and stop faster leaving more distinct quiet space between each one.
Images are more solid and three dimensional with better defined edges. I can more clearly hear the air around each instrument and voice vibrating with the energy produced by the sound. The space between images is much, much quieter making each image stand out more. Instruments and voices project more forcefully from the speakers without being any louder. It’s as if there is more air being moved.
The soundstage is wider, much deeper and some instruments appear to be taller. The front to back layering is better defined and the stage even projects farther in front of the plane of the speakers. With the more precise imaging on the larger, more three-dimensional stage, the speakers disappear from the presentation. With my eyes closed, I am hard pressed to guess where they are located. I joked with my wife that even after opening my eyes at the end of a record, it still took me 10 minutes to find my speakers again.
Dynamic contrasts are greater at both the micro and macro end of the spectrum. Softly played notes are more distinct and easily heard above the quieter background. Loud climaxes are even more explosive, yet are more defined and controlled. On a particularly dynamic section of one of my records, the individual instruments blended together in one, loud cacophony of sound. Now, this section is even more explosive, but I can hear each of the instruments clearly as separate sounds.
No doubt due to the quieter background and more precise imaging, previously hidden details emerged for the first time, even sounds I never heard before in my previous house. For example, on one song, I can now hear a cymbal just outside the left speaker (I opened my eyes to look) being lightly tapped that I’ve never heard before. On top of that, it is easy to hear that the cymbal is being struck very near its center. That got my attention. On another song, I always thought the female singer was singing the word “raw”, but now I can hear her very quietly enunciate the “g” at the end of the word “wrong”. What I once perceived as just a group of backing vocals on one song are now clearly presented, individual voices.
High frequencies are more defined and controlled, but not necessarily more extended (see below). Cymbals, bells, triangles all have more shimmer and the decay of their sound lingers longer in the quieter background. Small cues such as where a cymbal is being struck are now more evident. On one song, what I previously thought was a cymbal is now clearly a tambourine.
One might get the impression with all this additional detail that the sound might have become more cold and sterile, but the exact opposite is true. There is an added warmth, a richness of tone and a smoothness that gives the music a more relaxed and realistic feel. I have one record of a female vocalist that while I like the music very much, there was an unlistenable amount of sibilance on the record and I never played it. Well, I can’t say the sibilance is entirely gone now, but it is reduced enough that I can listen to it and enjoy it.
As the 1200 has broken in over the past 4 weeks, the improvements I have noted have gotten only slightly better. I am surprised how great the unit sounded right out of the box compared to other components and cables I have had to break in. The one area that has seen more than slight improvement over the course of four weeks is frequency extension in the bass and highs. The bass has gotten deeper but still retained the tight, defined, concussive impact. When deep bass is on a record, this aspect of the sound is really fun to experience. The high frequencies have also become more extended. Cymbals and bells have more shimmer and air, rising above even a loud orchestra.
While these technical improvements are most welcomed, to focus solely on them is to lose sight of the bigger picture. As I mentioned earlier, I typically only listened to a few songs on that first album I played. There are several other songs that I always felt were somewhat disjointed in a beatnik poetry kind of way and thought the only way I would ever appreciate or connect with them would be to grow a soul patch and wear a beret and square rim sunglasses (no offense to any beatniks who may be reading this). However, with the 1200 powering my system, I not only listened to these songs twice that first day, but I found them to be fascinating. I finally made the musical connection and got in touch with my inner beatnik. As I have spent more time listening over the past four weeks, I have found this to be true of many more records. I am listening to and enjoying more of the music I own. I find my head bobbing, my toes tapping and even my thighs getting slapped more often than not.
Perhaps it is because I was dealing with the worst power I have ever encountered in the last 7 houses I have lived in, but the Equi=Core 1200 has had a significant impact on my enjoyment of music. Maybe it wouldn't have the same impact in a house with cleaner power to begin with.That I cannot say. What I can say is that it cleaned up my power and then some.
I’ve always felt one big difference between live music and reproduced music is live music doesn’t sound forced or strained; it just flows. With the Equi=Core 1200 in my system, I feel my system is a step closer to that sound. To say I am thrilled is an understatement.

A well designed Balanced Power System is a great way to remove the noise from the wall - and offer your system it’s ability to be at it’s very best. The EQUI~TECH is the really the Grandfather of all of this - and it’s a wonderful choice.
But the same time you offering your own product Power=Core, which you called "regenerator". This means that the balanced technology itself inside of Equi=Core isn’t yet enough to compete with a full range of regenerator’s capabilities. What distinguishes Power=Core’s design from the Equi=Core, which allows him to be called the regenerator? (I hope this is not only the voltage regulation?)
The main feature of regenerators is waveform correction. I wonder what can the balanced technology do with distorted waveform? Is the perfectly shaped waveform any important for balanced powered devices?
Not 100% sure on your question re Ground.
I mean that all electrical sockets at my apartment have only TWO pins: "hot" and neutral. No GND pin. How balanced technology will work in these conditions? Will I got problems with it?
FYI: 1200 & 1800 owners. I improved the performance of my 1800 and got more detail out of my system by using Herbie's Big Tall Tenderfoot (firm, four of them) under my 1800. Other brands, configurations, points, etc. would most likely work well also.

As to the Redmere Active cables, I own and have tried one, as well as Monoprice’s own 18Gbps Active cable. I stand by what I stated, but understand the appeal of these cables....especially for those that don’t want huge, unruly cables.

Hello everyone! I’m newbie in the balanced power, so would like to ask a few questions about it.
First:
what is the difference between ABILITIES of balanced conditioners and
power regenerators, such as PS Audio and Accuphase? Regenerators are considered
to be a complex solution for all power deviations and they do eliminate
noise, restore sine wave, stabilize voltage and all etc. So what about
Equitech Q or Equi=Core?
Second: how is demanding the balanced technology to availability of ground in my wall outlet?
@benzmano; To the best of my knowledge, there is a push button reset on the back of my 1800. I'm not sure what the technical name is, perhaps a Thermal Circuit Breaker? If I'm incorrect with the name someone please assist me ;-). I agree, the Synergistic Black fuse has been a great improvement in every piece I've installed it in also.
I have a 50 and 150 cord. I just moved to a new place and the cords are to long. Any problem if I shorten and reterminate. I've build several PC's inthe past so no problem with doing the work myself.

Thanks for the info. The Darbeevision I had was the first version so I’m not sure if it was the 5000s. It worked real good until I got the Samsung 4k UHD 85" ($10,000) TV. It actually then degraded the picture. I will check it out again when they come out with a 4K version.
The best I can comment on the Redmere Active 18gbs cables is, please try them and then comment. They go for around $20 depending on the length. I bet you will be impressed. BTW. Previously before the Redmere's I used the WireWorld Platinum Silver Starlight 7.
I have had the 1800 for a few weeks now. This unit is the real deal, at least for my system. For the most part, I thought it sounded pretty good before putting it in. But now, on most recordings there is more air, space, and separation. There is another level of liveliness. Even dull, hard recordings sound a bit better. You can increase the volume on them without hurting your ears to much.
Were you using the DarbeeVision DVP-5000S? I've heard the older models introduced artifacts.
Also, what percentage and mode were you using?
All of that aside, if using a 4K TV, you're still at the mercy of the video processing and upsampling of your TV. This means every display will handle things differently. Plus, Darbee should be introducing their 4K processors this coming year.
As to the Redmere active HDMI cables, many people have had problems using them with true 4K sources. They do not seem to have the signal transmission capability of thicker gauge analog cables, despite their claims.
While the Redmere cables do lower the noise-floor, it is achieved through processing, equalization, and altering the source. To get an idea of what you are doing to your video and audio signals, look here:
"FIGS. 1A-1C illustrate the effect of the limited bandwidth of a cable on the transmitted signals. FIG. 1A illustrates a high-speed signal to be transmitted through a high-speed cable, FIG. 1B shows a distorted bandwidth-limited signal received at the receiver end of the cable (before equalization), and FIG. 1C shows the received signal at the receiver end after equalization. As seen from FIG. 1B, the signal edges are slowed and short pulses are narrowed, not reaching the full transmitted amplitude."
Personally, I prefer thicker gauge HDMI cables with silver.
@benzman - thanks for your enquiry. New Metal is in the house for 1800's and 1200's - we are making 1200's from back orders now - and 1800's will be ready to go next week.
One nice surprise is you'll note that the front panels are now Laser Engraved. The "blind" engraving is very beautiful and quite understated. That said - some folks wanted to "see" the Name and Model Number even better. Our Metal Fabricator made us a sample of the Laser Engraving and it's really quite nice.
Bottom Line - all products shipping next week - good stock until the end of the year.

Quantum QRT was an independent company and technology, that was bought out by Nordost. Of course, Nordost redesigned the products in "fancy" aluminum chassis, and charged multiples more. The QRT will improve dimensionality and color saturation for video.
Yesterday my wife commented that "whatever you have done to the TV now shows all the makeup and teeth problems in the picture". I took that as a compliment.
@benzman, let me know how your S.R black receptacle sounds. I have a dedicated 20 amp line with a Furutech Gtx-D rodium with plate and cover. I've been curious about the S.R black. The Furutech blended really well with a CPT-300 into a Hidiamond HDX1 - 6 outlet bar to my whole system. It was magic.

Nice decision on the LG OLED TV! If you want to boost the picture quality even further, try a DarbeeVision DVP-5000S, especially with Quantum QRT products.
Just ordered the 1800. I passed on a nice deal on a Synergistic UEF 10 model so I am hoping for the best. Will be plugging in odyssey Kismet mono blocks and a Modwright tube pre into a SR black outlet in a dedicated 20 amp circuit. Hoping for a little magic!!! Russ

I have the CPT 300 plugged into one of my dedicated circuits. With the CPT 300 I am using several DIY outlet strips that power all of my digital equipment. Oppo 105, cable box, PS Audio Direct Stream Dac, Tascam HiRez recorder etc.
My second dedicated line is used for my 2 JL Audio F-113 subs and my Denon home theater receiver.
The 3rd dedicated line is used with the CPT 1800 powering my Pass Labs Amp (X350.5), DEQX , BSG QOL and my 85" Samsung UHD. I had left over one of those Quantum power stickers so I put it on the wiring inside the 1800. I don’t know if it provides any benefit though. I also found that using a Audio Magic PE and Pulse Gen also increased the performance of the CPT 1800. Looking inside the 1800 it is just one big transformer.
So with all that, my Samsung picture has never looked better, everything looks almost 3D like. With newscasters you can actually see very clearly wrinkles and the heavy make up. I think I can tell which ones have caps on there teeth !
The audio is purer with a smooth natural tone. I tried using my Cerious Technologies (yellow power conditioner cord) on the CPT 1800 but I have decided that the included power cord works just fine. So, I was able to reuse the Cerious cable elsewhere.
So, to me, the CPT 1800 is highly recommended. It is not pricy compared to the many $$$ power conditioners that are out there and it can run your whole system, amps and all!

I know I'm going to get shot for saying this at THIS MOMENT... but it looks like our Transformer maker can only deliver 40 more 1800-based Transformers through the rest of the year. Ugh...
The
day finally arrived, November 11, 2016. I was anxiously waiting for the arrival
of the UPS delivery truck and my long waited for Power Core Technology (CPT)
1800.
The
heavy-duty box had some weight to it and I lugged it downstairs to my dedicated
music room.
Upon
unpacking it, I found the 1800 enclosed in the typical plastic bag, totally
surrounded by solid protective Styrofoam of some type along with a supplied
power cord.
The
1800 is very solid, well constructed and attractive. It weighs in at 55
pounds and is 11.6” L x 11.6” D x 5” H.
The
back of the unit has four duplex receptacles, a rocker on-off switch, a push
button reset and main power cord IEC connector.
Out
of the box with only a couple of minutes of warm up time I could definitely
hear improvement with my music and as time went on the 1800 continued to
burn in and is still improving.
I
currently have my Transport, DAC and FM tuner plugged into the 1800, while my
integrated amp is plugged directly into the wall outlet using the CPT 300 power
cord. At a later date I’ll plug my integrated amp into the 1800 also.
The first four days of use I
listened to dozens of my audiophile recordings that I always use for the
purpose of demonstration and comparison. I noticed a lower floor noise; wider,
greater depth and definition of sound stage; increased resolution, including
more details; better vocal and instrumental harmony; improved timbre, better
attack and decay elements, and bigger
deeper bass resolution.
If you were considering some type
of power filtration system I would definitely recommend the CPT 1200 or 1800. I
believe you will find that it competes with the big boys at a fraction of the
cost.

Power Filtration provided by: Two Extreme Isolation Transformers (5 KVA each)
from the main panel into a sub-panel that feeds all AC power into the audio
systems. The Extreme Isolation transformers have a huge iron core design, noise
suppression is -146 and they weigh 129 lbs. each. The isolation transformers
actually sit on three 1-1/2" solid brass audio points that are on top of
the cinder blocks and the cinder blocks rest on top of three hockey pucks that
are on the concrete floor.
The CPT 1800 is an addition and improvement used in conjuction with my isolation transformers.
