UPS was unkind to the D.C., and I'm waiting for a replacement :-(
|
lak..any thoughts yet on the DC..?. |
Mark-
Are you taking orders now for the DEEP CORE? |
@t_ramey
Your unit is working perfectly in burn-in - Mama wanted to get some time on it as she is back today after several days away...
@calloway
Oh yes - our paypal is earthtunes@live.com
@lak
Thank You for your help... The Deep Core is exactly the same chassis as E=C 300...
Thanks all...
Mark |
lak..thanks..that's perfect..dave..let me know how you like it.. |
@calloway, UPS just this minute delivered a Deep Core beta unit to me. L=8" x W=8" H= 4". Weight 6 1/2 pounds.
|
Mark..what are the dimensions of the Deep Core..?. |
Mark..do you take paypal..? |
Hey Mark,
Any chance a 1200 with two Furutech NCF's finds its way to Arizona this week?
-Tom |
@fjarratt - Thank you sir for the strong recommendation...
The DEEP CORE is out in the field now with a few guys and more just shipped.
The DEEP CORE will truly astound people at this product addresses so many issues with Transformer Synchronicity - Every Transformer works differently in every system and power grid - we get the Earth (Ground) and Neutral synchronous and relationship into a "better place"... :)
More about this soon - there is a lot to talk about here... but I've been trying to keep quiet until some of the Beta Guys check in.
I can promise something very very special here...
Best always,
Mark

Strong Recommendation: Buy Core before you commit any more time and money upgrading your system. I have been chasing upgrades when I really had an AC source problem. Upgrades are fun, but as they say: "Garbage In, Garbage Out".
Get Core, plug-in 2 or 3 lamps with big bulbs and let it cook for 3 weeks. It is that simple.
Report back with your results.
Mark: What is this about Deep Core improving on the base Core???? Am interested.
Frank (Core 300 on front-end and 1800 on amp/speakers) |
@klh007
Thanks as always sir...
:)
Appreciate your text messages...
Hugs,
Mark |
@calloway
Thanks so much for your message.
The coupon that goes with the Pucks calls for $250 dollars off - or $750 total - :)
@wig
Thanks so much as well. Welcome comments after a difficult week's end. Lynn is down for the count with the stomach flu that's raging here in CO and Papa is running the show right now (not doing as well as Lynn does)... This was welcome relief.
I'm really excited to get more Deep Core's out there. Our pcb shop is fabricating now - and our metal guys are rocking. We needed to make some very minor mechanical changes for the Pot and the Quick-Acting Circuit Breaker. All done and baked in...
Best to all,
Mark |
Dave, I have your answer, and it's a good one, but I can't find your email address. I'm off to a DC HiFi Group meeting now, if you can find mine send me a message. When I get home tonight, I'll try to communicate with you. |
Dave, I'll check for you.
|
klh007..how does one go about getting one at the 'early adopter pricing?..you should have my email address.Dave |
I'm also looking forward to the Deep Core mated to my E=C 1200 which already sounds unbelievable...

Dave, Here is about all that has been posted about Deep Core, it should be spectacular; The Deep core is a multi-function power conditioner that re-defines the category. The deep core is designed to not only provide clean, spur free power but it also allows the user to optimize the power delivery interface via a user adjustment. The optimization of the power delivery interface can significantly affect sound quality as the prime power source is a major contributor to attributes such as the noise floor and dynamic range of the system. The deep core can be used with almost any system configuration providing optimized power for both source components and power amplifiers. The deep core has the following major attributes; · An Input circuit that features a unique DC snubber which stops any DC , constant or transient, imposed upon the power lines from passing through the deep core and into the system. DC can saturate the transformers of source components and cause voltage fluctuations. · After the DC snubber the deep core has a complex common mode filter designed to suppress any RF signals that may be riding on the power lines. This RF energy can raise the noise floor and affect the total dynamic range of the system. The EMI filter is implemented with high quality magnetics that will not saturate under high current conditions · After the common mode filter a second EMI/RFI filter is implemented that further cleanses the power of unwanted out of band products. This additional filter includes integrated surge suppression to insure that no high voltage transients, such as the voltage from a lightning strike, will pass through the system · The last stage of the deep core contains the adjustable power delivery interface. This interface allows the user to optimize the power delivery to his or her system. This unique capability allows the power core performance to be optimized for each individual user case The deep core should be connected directly to the desired components as it is the “final” word in power conditioning. Its unique ability to not only fully cleanse AC power sources of both DC and RF noise but to also optimize the power delivery is unique among competing products. Further - I can say that we like Deep Core IN FRONT OF the Equi=Core products. This is contrary to how I was using it in the beginning... this is MUCH BETTER IMHO... Deep Core will be priced at $995 - talk to us about early adopter pricing.

Mark..saw your room / products at Axpona..Great sound..!!!! I would love to get some info on your new product..Deep Core..you should have my address ..Dave |
@fjarratt - thanks for the update...
BTW - your "specials" on cables and connectors are on the way. Very glad that you like Super Stroke :)
Best wishes,
Mark |
Re Break-in: my 300 and 1800 have passed 350 hours. The improvement since 150 hours has been striking. Day by day the image continues to open up. Very impressive.
(Currently in a project to hear all of Haydn in order of composition, so am using the system regularly while Core does its break-in.)

Mark, I'm happy to hear you're getting a little better each day! I bet you must be very busy with the sales success from AXPONA, don't over do it, we know your Doctor ordered you to take it easier, heed the advice. |
Thank You Itay...
Much appreciated. DHL is wonderful for this kind of delivery - very efficient.
I'm doing "ok" here - each day gets a bit better I feel.
Wishing you all the very best,
Mark |
Hi Mark Actually tomorrow dhl guys will deliver my 1800 and I will let it run a few days and share my opinion. Thanks and feel well. Itay |
@icorem - Just wanted to say how happy I am to finally be able to release 1800's in 220v version.
I thank you and all of the others that waited patiently while we made sure that our 220v version performs perfectly.
I sincerely apologize to you and the others as this took some time and revision.
Please do let me know what you think once the 1800 has been in your system for a while.
Best wishes,
Mark

@koslekt1
Thanks so much...
Appreciate all of your comments

Mark - I wish you the best as you battle your health issues. Just a quick note others may be interested in. I picked up an 1800 from AXPONA and have 2 JC1's and my Exogal DAC and Mac Mini plugged into it. After letting it settle for a couple of days, I feel it has made a nice improvement over the Running Springs I had been using. There seems to be a little more uumph on the bottom end and the mids and highs have more separation between notes. The soundstage has moved further away from the speakers and into space, which is great. Overall, everything just seems a little more musical than before - And I am using the $99 cord, not an upgrade. Highly recommended. Mark, if you need someone to test a Deep Core, you let me know :) |
Good Morning...
Some of our Deep Core Sample Units are leaving today(at last)...
Those that are testing these for us can choose to write up their experiences if they'd like to. We are not requiring this - but they are free to let you guys know how Deep Core works in their systems :)
Best wishes,
Mark |
@fjarratt - Hi Frank...
The both work great... our 220v did require some additional; shielding which we have done -
They are both very good products that deliver...
Best wishes,
Mark |
Are 220v versions preferable to 110v?
Frank |
Good Morning...
For those of you that have waited patiently and those wanting to order... we have just been told that 36 more 1800 Transformers for 220v will be here shortly.
We apologize for the delay - these transformers do have our new shielding for 220v in place and we feel that after reviewing the several samples we flew in a few weeks ago that these perform really well. Super low-noise and great overall performance.
Many thanks,
Mark |
For those of you interested in visiting with Walter from Emerald Physics - our room is 434.
Wally has checked in several times to tell me that the sound is really fantastic which was very special to me given that this is the first time we are showing speakers with our Full Range Crossover Networks. NO DSP IN THE SYSTEM WHATSOEVER.
Big shout out to our team that worked on this, especially to Dan M. Bravo!
Enjoy the show folks...
Best wishes,
Mark |
@wig
You are so right. While these last few days have been difficult... they have allowed for reflection and have actually allowed me to gain clarity in other places in my life.
I really thanks everyone here (and on my Facebook page) for the kindness and support I have received. Very uplifting for sure...
Best to all...
Mark |
Mark,
I know it's hard to slow down when things are starting to pick-up but you really need this time to take care of yourself, reflect and recharge your batteries.
Your Doctor knows what's best for you...
Wig |
@sadono - thanks for your note, well appreciated
I AM listening to my Doc - she's totally cool (from the mid-west)...
Salt is OUT for sure and I'm taking Metropolol (ugh)...
I will get better - I just need some quiet time now and as well, get some custom orders out of the barn here.
DEEP CORE works even better than Doug and I had imagined, and we are excited to finally share it. Believe me... I want to get this done and shipped in the worst way.
Best always...
Mark |
Mark,
I'm glad you're taking your doc's orders, and putting your health first! He's probably put you on blood pressure meds, and advised lower salt intake. Make sure you're drinking enough water. Some very light weight/high rep weight training, could be helpful, as your health allows. No need to look like John! 😁
I'm still patiently looking forward to DEEP CORE. 😀 (Thanks for the pics, Tom!) But make sure to focus on your health, and spending time with the grandkids! 😃👍

Good Morning All,
I’m slowed fore sure - but not completely sidelined.
I am allowed two hours per day on the phone or Internet... I agreed to this as a way of managing Blood Pressure etc.
I am allowed to go into work today provided I go slow and easy and only for a few hours at a time.
Deep Cores are in the house (6 Alpha units) and we have more coming. These will leave by the end of the week. I want to test each one individually as these are so new.
We have many 220 volt units that are set to leave as well - but Lynn has really been back up due to my situation... :(
As well... we have now two grandchildren that are here from out of state. Not the very best timing... but we are always glad to see them. :)
I am not at Axpona - but most of you already know this...
New orders are going out on-time - customs take a moment or two more... Either I build those or our tech when he is in.
That’s the update...
Thanks for the very nice notes of best wishes...
Mark |
Hi t_ramey: I assume that you've already tried the Furutech NCF outlets. They are the best outlets to be had at this time. I upgraded to them from the GTX rhodium outlets, and they are much fuller sounding with a more pronounced bass slam. I also upgraded the IEC inlets in my CD player and preamp to the NCF ones. They make a nice improvement as well, although not as much as the outlets. Manufacturers should offer these as an upgrade option I think.
|
Mark..follow your docs instructions..watch the salt intake too..Your health is much more important than any cable....blood pressure issues by themselves are usually fairly easily controlled.Good luck.. |
I'm waiting on a 1200 that I'm getting with two Furutech ncf receptacles put in that I sent to Mark. Mark has responded to my emails quickly each and every time I had a question. I know he's just a one man show for the most part so just patiently waiting for that glorious day to arrive. |
I'm still patiently waiting to beta-test Deep Core... |
Hi all, been a long time since I've posted but have been clearly watching through notifications how things are going/or not going. just out of curiousity, has anyone received or heard if/when the deep core will be released. Also for 6-7 days now there are no posts. I have an idea why everyone fled but feel free to express it just as Ozzy has. Please, it will help others......thx. |
@lak
Thanks so much for your note. Certainly a risk when we share personal ups and downs on the Internet - but I have always counted this thread and the people here as really good... Appreciate your good words.
@tuffy72561
I'm so sorry. I wanted to meet for sure. Walter will be there and both the units in Wyred4Sound and Modwright will be for sale at the show with a nice Show Special. You can always text if any of your guys are interested. Doc has me limited to two hours per day on the phone or computer... :)
Many thanks,
Mark |
Yes Mark please take care if yourself. I will miss meeting you at Axpona. I hope some of your products will be there though ad I plan to stop by with some audio friends who are interested in CPT. |
Mark, I hope you will take it easy and slow down. Feel better and get healthy. |
Good Morning... Sadly, I will not be attending the Axpona Show - below is the note I posted on my Facebook page - To those that wanted to meet up and chat... I'm terribly sorry... Trying to keep it short and sweet here - Thanks so much... Mark ++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hey All... Just a note to those that wanted to visit with me at Axpona. I'm grounded per my Doctor - no flying for me as my BP is off the charts and there are issues with the ticker. Low and slow for the next week while we evaluate a treatment plan. I'm really sorry that I won't be there for Core Power and for Emerald Physics Best to all, Mark
|
@klh007
Right now we have spoken to Wyred4Sound and Dan Wright about showing 1800's - these plus the Emerald and Core Power room...
Thanks -
Mark |
Will other CPT kit, Equi-Core 300/1200/1800 be at AXPONA? |
@calloway
My plans are to get these beta units out and on the street as quickly as possible.
I'm not sure if I will have DEEP CORE at Axpona as we don't want to offer something publicly until the finished Production Units are in the warehouse and ready to ship... this makes life simpler :)
Thanks so much...
Mark |
Mark..are you going to have a 'Deep Core' at Axpona..?..Would love to see it.. |
