Good bass test tracks on vinyl

I am searching for good test tracks especially good bass test tracks. I have new speakers that will go as low as 18hz but I am having trouble with finding lps with low frequency...or at least tracks that I can think of. If you can help me think of some let me know.

Thanks, jb2455

The Police - Next to You

Mettalica - Enter Sandman

Miles Davis - So What

The Black Keys - Everlasting Light
The Hunter by Jennifer Warnes and The Bright Mississippi by Allen Toussaint are both examples of good music with well recorded bass. Neither will approach 18hz, but - beyond a pipe organ - no acoustic instrument really does.

For electronic music, you'd have to ask other folks as most isn't my cup of tea. However, you could try to chase down an old copy of Phillip Glass' "Etoile Polaire" (North Star). Not for every taste, but a significant work in the "trance music" movement.
Ray Brown - Soular Energy (Blue if you can find it)
Dead Can Dance - Into The Labyrinth

For great recording of classical acoustic bass(accompanied by just organ)
Gary Karr ‎– Adagio D'Albinoni (Cisco) This LP always bring the house down, especially the audio nerds!

Cheers,

"get thy bearings". By Donovan on essential Donovan has very nice clean acoustic upright bass.

In "tsunami" by Dvbbs and Borgeus the throbbing synthesized bass as the tsunami hits is awesome.
This is off topic a bit, it's not vinyl. If you have the ability to play 24/192 files, the new Dark Knight Rises soundtrack (Hans Zimmer) from HDTracks is seriously dynamic and has bass to the deepest, darkest regions of the netherworld. Oh my. It will truly let you know if your rig has a set. It's fun but be careful!
Morph the Cat- Donald Fagan. I really don't care for the music, but I guess it's good for breaking in speakers, if nothing else. Erika Badu "Baduism" has deep synth bass and good music to boot. If you go for that sort of stuff.
Telarc 1812 Overture. Most turntables/arms cannot handle the cannon shots, the needle jumps out of the groove. The B&O tangential trackers were the only ones I found that could successfully navigate the entire disc...

"Walk On The Wild Side", Lou Reed. If you have an original vinyl copy you're all set!

;^)
Roscoeii's suggestions are very good ones to get low, great artists as well. Another extreme bass situation I have come upon recently is S_W_Z_K which I would also put in the "not for everyone" category. I'm not sure how or if you can get more bass than that record.
Bela Fleck - "Flight of the Cosmic Hippos"

Sade - "Your Love is King","Sweetest Taboo", Smooth Operator"

Janet Jackson - "Velvet Rope"

Pink Floyd - Many Tunes

Gustav Mahler Symp #6 Movt 1 and 3

AC/DC - "Thunderstruck", "Highway to Hell", "War Machine"
If it is plumbing the depths you want, check out Sunn O))) or James Blake. But I would take a listen before you pull the trigger on one of their LPs since they are not for everyone.
