Ferrari Purosangue with Burmester Audio
Burmester in the Ferrari Purosangue: After Mercedes and Porsche (one could theoretically also include the first Bugattis), Burmester audio systems are now also providing the best sound in the models of the next luxury brand – namely Ferrari. The whole thing starts with the world premiere of the Ferrari Purosangue, in which – befittingly – the large Burmester high-end surround sound system is installed.
I installed an expensive audio system in my first Ferrari many years ago and after a month, had the installer remove it. I wanted to hear the car’s music-- especially if one is driving vigorously. I kinda like those 4 door semi-SUV Ferraris- the ultimate middle finger-- use it as a grocery getter not a boy racer. I gather you can no longer get a stick in a Ferrari. Sad. I did own a bunch of them. Back in the day. There is something magical about the choreography of clutch, brake and accelerator along with the click-clack of the gated shifter. I’m well out of cars now. Wouldn’t mind a Pur Sang clone of a Type 35 but it is so darned hot in Texas it would not be fun. |
Fuse upgrade now that is funny. Anti FCA a guy. Though the Hellcats are cool. Would never buy a car for the stereo. Now Ferrari is on another level. Sf is now in Maserati. Sonus Faber Wins EISA Award For Its Deluxe Sound System In Maserati’s MC20 Supercar (forbes.com) |
