Diffuser Panels/Room Treatment Question

I would recommend photos of your system and venue. That will make it easier to understand your situation. You can see mine under my ID.

Treatments can make a huge difference…depending on your speakers, room, electronics and preferences.

@lg1 I'd predict a big difference. Lots of those chotckas, especially metal ones will ring like a bell at one freq. or another. It's impossible to predict exactly what each of those will do.

Good diffusors will break up and disperse waves across mid and treble ranges. Bass traps are needed if breaking up bass nodes is a goal(they usually help and really can't hurt). You can see some pretty decent DIY diffusors on my system page. Cheers,

They had some great diy examples for diffusor panels. There was also a site that showed how much larger your room would "sound" with each panel. I recall the deeper the slats the lower frequency diffusion capability.
