Creed Taylor RIP

A great creator and producer of Jazz. R.I.P. Mr. Creed

Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker Live At Carnegie Hall is one example of Creed Taylors work.

I never heard of him, but if he got them together, I love him. I was just listening to one of those Getz discs two days ago. Still fresh as a daisy, and the sound is great.

Another one gone.  RIP Creed.  He put out a lot of good music on his CTI label but ruined it for me by adding the heavy helping of strings, trying to find something with wider appeal than straight jazz, I guess.
