Class A triode - on/off on remote?

Many high end class a preamps don’t have on/off on remotes, and some do (eg. Audio Research).  If ARC does it, why can’t others do it?  Why so difficult to install in a way that don’t hurt SQ?

Thanks,
schitt Frey’s is only about $900. Seems very cheap but looks nice.

If I select passive input it can be used for ht bypass, and tubes are off?

pls clarify how ht use occurs with Freya, , thanks very much
The Schiit Freya + allows its tubes to turn off when utilizing either the passive or FET settings, both remote switchable...lower gain for those options but the tubes get some rest...there ya go!
Using a preamp in ht environment is a mess to deal with.  Manuf don’t have their act together.

keep tubes off when watching movies and have a on off feature on remote.

don’t need to waste tubes when not listening to the two channel system.

people want both high end stereo and ht that share mains, and to keep tubes off when not listening to stereo.

There's really no point. Other things in the system have to be turned on too. The preamp has to be first. So no point in using a remote. If a preamp has it, its only because they could implement it, not because its actually practical.
"And then, I hope to be inspired by someone else."

Good luck with that, really.

Seems this issue is very complex.  Wouldn’t mind not having on off on remote if preamp would allow a ht signal to pass thru preamp while in standby with tubes off.  One high end preamp does this, modwright but they don’t have on off on remote.

preamps bought for ht use are very inefficient for no good reason by leaving tubes on when ht is used.

Many high end sport car don’t have automatic transmission , and some do (eg. Audi). If Audi does it, why can’t others do it? Why so difficult to install in a way that don’t hurt driving pleasure?
