Cardas Clear speaker cables: Rev 1 vs older version

After upgrading my interconnects to Cardas Clear rev1 RCA, I’m looking to upgrade my speaker cables to Cardas Clear too. Buying new is over my budget unfortunately, so I have been checking out demo / used cables. I noticed some of the Clear speaker cables on the second-hand market (like my interconnects) are marked with rev1 and other are not. Is anyone familiar with the differences between the rev1 version and the older version? If so, can you please share your experience? Thanks in advance.

That's a great question and one that I do not know the answer to myself.  I would give Brian at Cardas a call and ask him- he is a straight shooter and not a bs artist, so you will get a real answer.
Thanks for your replies, I have sent Cardas an email. Calling is a bit difficult due to time zone differences.
A cable always interacts with the component that it plugs into.....you can only tell what the cable sounds like when it is operating in your system.
For those interested: based on the info I received from Cardas, the rev1 has slightly more copper strands than the original Clear and has better lows and better dynamic range.
